Tamarisk (or Tamarix) Tetandra flowering shrub/tree
Young smokey pink fluffy flowers in summer on a sprawling large shrub or small tree. Best in full sun, acid or neutral soils with good drainage as they don't like to have wet roots. Good for coastal sites. Can be pruned to keep as a shrub/large shrub or laft to grow as a tree to approx 4-5M
